Multiplayer:
1. The retro two-piece poke the enemy with the retro charge then melee it will bring them down. The Retro two-piece. Fire two bullets from the Retro lancer at close range into an opponent then melee them to get an easy down.
2. Try not to direct impact someone with the boomeshot more often than not you will completely miss instead hit their feet.
3. Retro lancer is good to stop enemies who are rushing you with sawed-off.
4. Hammerburst is good if you have an ok triggerfinger and long distant kills.
5. The lancer can be deadly when active reloaded.
Horde:
1. Torque bows for lambent beserkers (anywhere on the body as long as the chest is open wen it explodes.
2. Scorchers for corpsers.
3. One shot torque on armoured kantus, then the second easy headshot torque when they scream.
4. Down drones with lancer then headshotting with snub if u r going for the 7 headshot bonus wave.
5. Boomshield - this is your best friend, and you should never lose it, ever. You should be behind it. Boomshields can take bullets, explosives, rockets, etc. and you won't take damage if you are behind them. Watch any of the better horde players, if there is no shield spawns on the map, they WILL have them on wave 8. I like to let the maulers get as close as possible, and take them out so I don't have to go searching for shields.
6. Fortifications - I see a LOT of people going wrong here... You can easily survive waves with nothing more than razor wires and command centers. Upgrading to laser wires is not only a waste of money, but it's also a liability as when you get close the barrier is 100% ineffective. They are too expensive to maintain, and are not worth the repair costs. Try to NEVER shoot tickers while they are on the barriers, as this will destroy them quicker. If you have caltrops or razor wires (You didn't upgrade to lasers, right?) and they are on the barrier, let them get through, and don't kill them until they are a decent distance from the barrier. This will save a tremendous amount in repair costs.
7. Buy Back - You should ALWAYS have enough money for buy back. If you are playing your forts right, this won't be a problem. I often get to the 40 waves with over $40,000 Part of your score is based on how many players are alive, so if you are keeping score in mind, you always want to make sure that you are alive at the end of a wave.
